DNPCCNS BARNES & NOBLE BOOKFAIR
Thursday, February 2nd @ Barnes & Noble MarketFair, ALL DAY
Come out and support our school at the 2nd annual DNPCCNS Bookfair. Attend the 6pm reading of Zombie in Love by illustrator Scott Campbell while enjoying DNPCCNS's signature smoothie at the Café. A percentage of all your purchases at the store the day of the bookfair go to support our school. Please make sure you say "We're here for the bookfair!" when you pay for the purchase so the Barnes & Noble employee marks your special purchase for our bookfair.  Every purchase dollar counts whether spent at the store or the in-store Cafe... when it is counted!

You can also support us online by going to BN.COM/bookfairs from 02/02/12 to 02/07/12 and entering Bookfair ID 10513893 at checkout.

Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church Cooperative Nursery School endorses the philosophy that children learn best through play and hands-on experiences in a warm and nurturing environment.  DNPCCNS is a nondenominational, flexible coop nursery school in which parents participate in the classroom and have an opportunity to be involved in the management of the school.

-
Fundamental to our nursery school is the cooperative experience, where parents actively participate in their child's early education.  The benefits to this unique format are numerous.

  • Provides comfort for the child in the transition from home to school
  • Allows parents to relate first-hand to their child's classroom experience
  • Children get to know other parents and benefit from varied talents and experiences
  • Gives parents the opportunity to be a part of committees and/or the School Board
  • Reinforces the link between home life and school life.
  • Demonstrates the value parents place on being active participants in their child's learning
