Emergency Weather Closings
Closings because of inclement weather will be announced on WHWH 1350AM or WPST 97.5FM on the radio dial.
Please do not call the school. Wait for your class trustee to call you. In event of an early closing, you will be notified by telephone.
Emergency Closing Guidelines
The DNPCCNS will follow the judgment of the West Windsor-Plainsboro (WW-P) School District with regard to closings due to inclement weather.
- Whenever the WW-P School District cancels classes due to inclement weather, both the morning and afternoon sessions of DNPCCNS will be canceled.
- When WW-P School District calls for a delayed opening, the morning session of the DNPCCNS will be canceled.
When WW-P calls for an early dismissal, the afternoon session of DNPCCNS will be canceled.
Make Up Days
Missed sessions in days number 1, 2 and 3 will not be made up. Missed sessions in days 4, 5 and 6 will be made up, the date(s) of which to be scheduled by agreement between the DNPCCNS Administrative Staff and the DNPCCNS Executive Board.
Five days (one week) will be added to the existing school calendar, so as to make days available for use ONLY for such make up days, as necessary, as described above. These days can be made up, however, anytime during the school year, again, by agreement between Administrative Staff and DNPCCNS Executive Board.
